Australia – The Land NOT Down Under in Social Media

Apparently, Australia is the #1 country for the longest amount of time spent on a social media website per person. In a study released by Nielson, Australians spend an average of 6 hours, 52 minutes online followed by Americans with 6 hours, 9 minutes online. On the other hand, the U.S. came in first place for the largest number of social media users with over 142 million as compared to Australia’s 2.45 million. I think the Australians have a little too much time on their hands. Just joking (because the U.S. isn’t exactly too far behind).
