On September 9th, a magnificent fleet of tall ships will sail into Erie Harbor to participate in a once-in-a-lifetime 4-day tall ships festival. From Sept 9 – 11, the ships will grace Dobbins Landing in this fundraising event to support our own FLAGSHIP NIAGARA. You can be part of it!

Tall Ships Erie is recruiting a large group of enthusiastic volunteers to help make this event a fantastic experience for the captains, crews and the expected 30.000 to 50.000 visitors. The event would not be possible without the dedication and passion of volunteers – as a matter of fact, Tall Ships Erie is entirely managed and organized by volunteers from organizations like Flagship Niagara League and many other partners who give of their own time to make it possible.

Join the crew, become part of the festival and make a difference in this fundraising event to ensure that NIAGARA keeps sailing!

Volunteer orientation sessions are scheduled for Saturday, August 28th at 10:00 a.m. and Wednesday, September 2nd at 7:00 p.m. at Hirt Auditorium at the Erie Maritime Museum. All volunteers will receive two complimentary tickets to the event for a minimum of working two shifts and a TALL SHIPS ERIE commemorative T-Shirt.
